A look inside Russian national figure skating team preparation for the new season.
On August 23, Team Tutberidze opened the doors of its training centre in Moscow for a special training session. The skaters presented their new programs for the 2026/27 season, giving the audience a first look at what they had been working on during the summer. The session was more than just a series of run-throughs. After the programs, the coaching team worked with the skaters directly on the ice, discussing the performances and making adjustments to the details that can make a difference once the competition season begins.
The training featured both singles skaters and pairs, including Petr Gumennik, Alexandra Ignatova(Trusova), Andrei Mozalev, Taisia Guseva & Daniil Ovchinnikov, and many others, including representatives from Team Georgia - Nike Egads and Anastasia Metelkina & Luka Berulava.
For the athletes it was another step towards the first competitions of the season, and for part of them - for the first since 2022 international season!
